Here is an account of meetings, conferences and groups that expressed interest to convene in Moab.

Among them, the Farmers Prairie Dog Conference will be held in Moab in November. Don't know much more about it, but trying to find out more.

The Rocky Mountain Psychological Association did some research to meet in Moab. The organizer replied, 'Unfortunately, there does not seem to be any direct flights to Moab from Denver." Perhaps with the approval of lengthening the landing strip at Canyonlands Airport, Moab could pick up flights from Denver and Salt Lake City. Moab will be reconsidered for 2017 by RMPA.

Silver Bay Tours had difficultly in March finding 25 rooms for a September motorcoach tour . There were two tours that necessarily bypassed Moab as a results of unavailable hotel space.

In December a 400 person retreat will occupy Moab. No doubt taking advantage of lower lodging rates.

There are a handful of Medical Training Sessions that are to be held in the winter here too.

One new event, which is meant to be an annual event, is Quilted Moab in February. Not to be confused with the Red Rock Quilt Show that is held every other year during March by the local Delicate Stitchers Quilt Guild of Moab. Quilted Moab is a retreat with many instructors teaching about quilt techniques.

The Moab Film Festival has officially altered event dates from September to late November in 2015.

Lifetime Products held a sales conference in Moab a few years back and are returning Spring 2015.

Western State Lands Commission will have about 130 in Moab for a conference this summer.

The Rocky Mountain Adventure Riders have permits in process with BLM and State Lands. This event is open to dual sport owners. The goal is to raise $6,000 for the Ride with Respect organization in Moab. All the rides will have trail leaders to keep all participants on the approved - permitted trails.

The Utah Mosquito Abatement Association will convene in Moab. Glad to have them return.
