The family of G.A. “Brig” Larsen deeply appreciates the love and support shown during the transition and passing of our most loved and amazing dad, grandfather and friend.

Our love and heartfelt thanks go out to Carolyn Tibbetts, Shirley Miller, Jerry White and all of the extended families, for all the love, support, encouragement, and words of wisdom given to each one of us during this past year, filled with many challenges. You were always there for us: we will be forever grateful. What a blessing it is to have such a loving family.

We appreciate the special care and professional service given by Dr. Ken Williams, Melody Sakrison, Gayle Audenried, Anita Keogh, and the nurses and staff at Moab Regional Hospital, Community Nursing Services, Camille Trujillo, Paula Martin, Tammy Tucker, Chris Pogue, caregivers, Roberta Bergan, Bonnie Braithwaite, Dana Jordan, Jennie Massie, Meals on Wheels, Mary Lou Lopez, for all your TLC, VA Medical Center, Stephanie Vetterli, Jann Griffis, Wentworth, Natalie Selin, Mount Olympus Care Center, Stephanie Puffer, Premier Funeral Services, Jonathan Herrick. To all of you, your kindness will long be remembered.

Dear friends and family who traveled near and far to be with us for the Celebration of Life to pay tribute to our amazing Dad, we are very grateful. Your love, support, prayers, cards, flowers, donations, hugs and many other acts of kindness warmed our hearts.

The Celebration of Life was magnificent in the majestic mountain setting of Log Haven, in the meadow, by the pond, soon to be home of “Brig’s Bench.” Special thanks to Log Haven, Margo Provost, Ed Marshall, Faith Scheffler, Dave Jones, Ian Campbell, Dave Jeffers, and all the incredible staff, for the most positive, uplifting celebration and cherished day!

McKenna Miller, you are incredible — your music was beautiful, your voice is a gift, thanks for sharing it with us. Thanks to Desktop Audio Visual, Lyle Lechtenberg for all you contributed to the audio and visual part of our celebration. Special thanks to Karen Curtis, Ron and Glenda Crapo, for the beautiful pictures and treasured memories. Our heartfelt thanks to Billy, Brock, and Arizona Praddis for the 21 Gun Salute, to the Army, Spc. Omar Olmedo and Spc. Ryan White for the Military Honors and flag presentation, you touched our hearts and souls, honoring our Dad. Ken and Karen Card, White Dove Release, you took our breath away with the beauty of those white doves being released and soaring in the beautiful blue sky, paying such a special tribute to our Dad.

Our special thanks to The Times Independent for spreading the love and our appreciation to all. Thank you for all your thoughtfulness.

To all of you who expressed your sincere love for our Dad, “Brig,” over his 87 years in what he called God’s Country “Moab” — think how he must be wishing that we could know today, how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. Think of him living in the hearts of those he touched ... for nothing loved is ever lost ... and he loved unconditionally and was loved so much.

Our Dad “Brig,” was a true inspiration and gift to all, leaving us with a beautiful legacy. With love and sincere gratitude, we thank you for helping us “CELEBRATE” his life.
