Carolee Luhrs, 1930 ~ 2009

Surrounded by loving family, beloved wife, mother, sister and friend Carolee Luhrs passed away in the early morning hours of Sept. 2, 2009.
Carolee was born on April 30, 1930 to Merelda and Arlo Dumas. She and her eight brothers and sisters grew up on the family farm in Sandy, Utah.
After graduating from high school, Carolee moved to Green River, Utah where she met the love of her life, Bill Luhrs. Carolee and Bill were married on Dec. 11, 1950. They were to spend the next 58 years of their lives together.
Over the course of those years, they brought three children into this world; Marilyn, Chad and Sherrie, and enjoyed many adventures with their children, family and friends.
Preceded in death by her granddaughter, Lindsay Luhrs, Carolee is survived by her loving husband, Bill Luhrs, daughter, Marilyn (Pat) Jones, son, Chad Luhrs, daughter, Sherrie (Tim) Buckingham, grandsons, Travis Kerr, Ian Buckingham (step), brothers, Ben and Douglas Dumas, and sister, Norma Dean (Larry) Hawkinson.
