She was born to Tom and Eva Shay Jaramillo in Moab, Utah, on July 10, 1944.
She grew up in Monticello, Utah, and graduated high school and then attended Steven Heneger College in Salt Lake City, Utah.
On Oct. 10, 1965, she married Lee Stocks in Monticello, Utah, and they moved to Moab, where they resided until her death. They were married for 48 years.
She worked as a secretary for a number of companies in the Moab area, including the Green River Missile Base, Rio Algom Mining, Texas Gulf Potash Mine, the federal government in the Mine Safety and Health Administration, and Arches National Park. After she retired from the National Park Service she worked for Uranium One Mining Co.
She is survived by her husband, Lee; two brothers, Val (Patsey) Jaramillo, and Manuel (Vivanne) Jaramillo; and one sister, Shone Ariotti.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Evette Lee; her parents; and a brother, Mike (Tammy) Jaramillo.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Nov. 1, at the Moab LDS Stake Center, 701 Locust Lane, at 11 a.m.
