Ms. Blaine (and other not-so-well-edumakaited folks, no matter their party leanings), I voted for Romney. And I am a registered Republican. But how dare you call me an “anti-free speech thug”? If anything, the U.S. Constitution is something I took an oath many years ago to defend. There was no expiration date on that oath. None. Nada. And it ain’t gonna happen.
I don’t care if individuals or businesses express their opinions about matters. God gave our forefathers the opportunity to make a great nation, and now we have America. If you want to talk about stuff that you support, go for it! And I will as well. If you don’t like something and you speak about it, do it! I do so as well (and usually my opinions are censored by the pinko rags I write them to).
I am not narrow-minded, at least I do not see that. Life in America is not a highway. Instead, it’s a huge field for people to come here (legally) and build their dreams and desires (you just gotta watch out for oncoming traffic).
The only hate I have is for communists and cops (no difference, just one wears a uniform). And if you want a sagebrush rebellion, baby, so long as I get rubbed sage on my fried spotted owl, I don’t care!
As for any businesses that feel their freedom of speech is attacked, I’m itching for a trip to Moab sometime soon, so you let me know who it is being boycotted. I might boycott them or I might patronize them. Who knows what I’ll do. But I assure you Ms. Blaine, as radical as I may be I still stand in support of your freedom of speech, no matter how weird and whacked out it may be.
