This month, Moonflower Community Co-op, 39 East 100 North, will feature the pots, mugs, sushi sets and other works of local ceramist Jessica Dye.
The Museum of Moab, 118 E. Center, will feature the photography of Agustin Victor Casasola, “Mexico Then: The Casasola Archive,” highlighting images of Mexico in the early 20th century.
At the Moab Arts and Recreation Center, 111 East 100 North, works by husband and wife Jonathan and North Frank will be on display. Jonathan Frank paints in the abstract expressionism style using a balance of gravity, velocity, time and space. North Frank creates her “Tree Shadow” abstracts by taking canvas outside and recording the shapes cast by the shadows of trees. She says she is highly inspired by color, poetry and music during their creation.
Bret Edge’s photography will be on display at The Edge Gallery at 137 N. Main St. Edge offers a variety of unique, ready-to-hang display options including plaque mounted prints, canvas gallery wraps, glossy metal prints and face-mount acrylic prints.
At Gallery Moab, 67 N. Main St., works by Moab artists Tim Morse, Mary Collar, and Thea Nordling will be featured during this month’s event. The exhibit showcases paintings inspired by the region’s unique landscapes.
Triassic, 7 N. Main St., will exhibit the works of Johnny Woodruff, a craftsman at Triassic specializing in stone and metal.
Moab Classic Bike, 69 E. Center St., will exhibit works by local artist and illustrator Tim McAllister. His work includes pop culture-inspired multi-dimensional collages. Graphics are layered on dimensional backgrounds constructed of post consumer recyclables.
At Sandstone Gallery, 78 N. Main St, sculptures by Danny Brown will be on exhibit. Brown “allows the stone to guide him through his sculptural expression in stone that combines Mother Nature and art in every creation.” Brown creates sculptural expression in stone that combines Mother Nature and art in every creation.
