As a team, the Little Devils competed in nine tournaments this year, according to coach Edward Guerrero.
Little Devils who took first place at the Blanding tournament were: Austin Paris, Landon Moralez, Ean Ellis, and Jason McKinney. Breckin Shepherd, Lane Peterson and Oscar Martinez took second place for the Little Devils, and Patrick Reilly, J.T. Dowd and Ayden Ceniceros placed third in their respective divisions. Braxton Martinez, Nixon Curtis and Isaac Robinson took fourth place, and Dayton Robertson, Lucas Caylor and Bailey Harrison placed fifth. Dallas Kerby and Kristopher Harrison took sixth place.
Junior Devils Dylan Harrison and Kayden Robertson took second place in their divisions at the tournament.
“All of the kids wrestled well and faced some very good opponents. As always, they were good sportsman and they never quit,” coach Guerrero said. “We started the season with 64 kids ages 10 and under. This year was awesome and I look forward to next season. For me as a coach there is nothing greater than seeing a child learn and apply what they are taught.”
