In a close game against the Molly Morbids of Happy Valley, Moab’s defensive strategy proved effective for most of the game as the Moab team managed to keep the score close or tied until the very end. But Happy Valley ultimately took home the win by the score of 134-115.
Anxious to compete on home turf, Moab Roller Derby plans to host a local event in the near future, team members said in a news release. The league is also actively recruiting new skaters and officials to bolster its ranks.
