Paul was born to Allen and Sara Shuey Sr., the second of eight children at the home farm near Greensburg, Pa., on March 1, 1935. He left Pennsylvania in 1955 to head west to prospect. He worked in the uranium industry for 25 years and construction for 25 years.
He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spending great times with his family. He will be greatly misseed.
Paul is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ginger; children, Monica (Gary), Paul Jr. (Shannon), Alaine (Russ), Darla (George), Wanna (Chuck), Wade (Jules); sisters, Bev (Ron) and Lorraine; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren, who will also miss their Papa.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Al Jr. and Ike; sisters, Fay, Vera, and Sally.
Paul was a devoted father, husband and Papa.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 7 at 11 a.m. at Spanish Valley Mortuary in Moab. A viewing will be held Thursday, Sept. 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary.
