Comments on the EA should be as specific “as possible with references to page numbers and chapters of the document. Comments which contain only opinions or preferences will not receive a formal response, but may be considered in the BLM decision-making process,” the news release stated.
When submitting comments, the email or letter should reference “American Potash.”
Written comments may be mailed or emailed to: Bureau of Land Management Moab Field Office, 82 East Dogwood Moab, Utah 84532. Comments may also be submitted by email to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Those submitting comments should be aware that the entire comment—including personal identifying information—may be made publicly available at any time, according to the news release. Requests can be made to the BLM to withhold personal identifying information when the comments are made available to the public, but the agency cannot guarantee such requests can be honored, according to the news release.
