Geokinetics USA, Inc., on behalf of National Fuel Corporation, proposes conducting a geophysical operation consisting of two parallel seismic survey lines totaling approximately six linear miles in the Middle and Horse Canyon areas of southeastern Utah’s Book Cliffs. The draft EA analyzes the potential environmental impacts of the proposed project.
The EA is available for public review and comment on the Environmental Notification Bulletin Board (ENBB) at: https://www.blm.gov/ut/enbb/index.php; search for project name “Horse Point.”
Written comments will be accepted by letter or email until Sept. 19. Comments should be as specific as possible with references to page numbers and chapters of the document. Comments that contain only opinions or preferences will not receive a formal response, but may be considered in the BLM decision-making process. Reference “Horse Point Geophysical” when submitting comments.
