“Youth Rock Campaign Moab empowers youth to believe in themselves by providing a supportive community that fosters self-expression, confidence, and collaboration through musical education and performance,” Moab Teen Center Director Amy Stocks said in a news release.
The program, which will be run by volunteers, will provide local young people with the opportunity to form bands, learn how to play an instrument such as guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, or vocals, compose an original song and perform live at a public shows at the Moab Arts and Recreation Center.
Registration is $75 and includes lunches for the four-day program.
