Charlotte J. Jones, “Charlie,” passed away of natural causes at the age of 98 on April 23, 2014, at Clearwater House in Nampa, Idaho. She was the daughter of Eva and June Moffitt, born Jan. 29, 1916, in Orangeville, Utah.

She married Charles H. Jones on July 23, 1938. From this union three children were born: daughters, Karen and Kathy and son, Kim “K.C.”

Charlotte graduated from Carbon County High School in 1934, where she was active in the pep club. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved being a homemaker. She was a wonderful cook, baker and seamstress. In her later years, she spent many enjoyable hours reading, playing bridge and watching baseball.

Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Karen Larsen, of Nampa, Idaho; daughter-in-law, Lori Jones, of Enoch, Utah; grandchildren, Jaime Wilkerson, of Jacksonville, Florida, Lindee McKennon, of Nampa, Idaho, Erika Pacheco, of Rawlins, Wyoming, Jacy Fields, of Beaver, Utah, Weston Jones, of Cedar City, Utah, Marki Dalton, of Cedar City, Utah; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter and a son.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N. Midland Blvd., in Nampa (208-467-7300), with a viewing to begin at noon prior to the services. Interment will follow a graveside service to be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, at the Mountain View Cemetery in Helper, Utah.
