Steven Taylor Wyatt was born Jan. 10, 1963 to Verell and Sharyn Wyatt. He was raised in Moab, attended school and graduated from Grand County High. Steven moved to Mesa, Arizona, after graduation, where he married Kim Almquist, who was the love of his life.
Steven loved sports, drag racing, golf, and spending time with his family including his four dogs. He and Kim enjoyed numerous adventures including a trip to Alaska and hiking the Grand Canyon. He worked for the same company for over 30 years, where he was shop foreman and maintained over 100 sand and gravel trucks.
Steven was preceded in death by his father, Verell Wyatt; both sets of grandparents; and close cousin, Tamera Jean Wyatt.
Survivors include wife, Kim Wyatt of Mesa, Arizona; adopted son, Christopher Wyatt; stepchildren, Rachel Almquis and Zackary Almquis; and his four beloved dogs, Bubba, Jezabel, Zazu and Lemmy; sister, Teresa Wyatt of Moab, Utah; brother, David Wyatt and wife Ann of Montrose, Colorado; mother, Sharyn Wyatt of Moab, Utah; mother- and father-in-law, Mary and Adrian Dewey; brothers- and sisters-in-law as follows: Dick and Lynda Stoxen, Carol Dewey, Jim Dewey, Brad and Beth Dewey, Ron Dewey, Dan Dewey and Todd and Kate Dewey. Steven is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Steven will be missed by all who knew him. We love you Steven; until we meet again.
