The Grand County Lady Devils’ volleyball team suffered a devastating road loss to the San Juan Lady Broncos on Oct.18, which brings their overall record down to 12-13, and 4-8 in 3A Region 15 competition.

The Lady Broncos (17-9, 9-3) were able to neutralize Grand County in a lop-sided three-set victory. In the first set, the Broncos allowed only 14 points. In the final two sets, things only got worse for Grand as they were defeated 25-11 and 25-13.

The Lady Devils face off against Delta (16-9, 10-2) this week in a neutral playoff match at Utah Valley University in Orem. Results for this match, which is a part of the 2017 3A Volleyball championship, were not available by press time.
