The proposed shuttle service would expand options for river put-in and take-out at the Mineral Bottom river access area, near the confluence of Mineral and Labyrinth canyons. The proposal includes a maximum of three people per flight and up to one flight per week, based on user demand. The EA includes a detailed analysis of potential impacts to other recreational users and wildlife.
The EA is available for public review via the ePlanning website: go.usa.gov/xnKfj. Comments may be submitted through Thursday, Dec. 7 directly through the website or by mail. Comments will be considered in finalizing the EA, which will serve as the basis for making a decision to approve or deny this request.
