He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Georgia Mitchell, four stepdaughters, numerous grandchildren, mother Verna Wright, brothers David Quinn (Dian) and Shawn Wright (Jovina), several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. In particular, nephew Joshua Wright, who had a very special place in Rod’s life, will miss him.
Rod loved the outdoors, boating, fishing and hiking. He was a man of many talents, including carpenter, talented football player and mechanic. He loved sitting around a campfire and singing until the sun came up. If friends were in need Rod would have given the shirt off his back. He will be missed by so many.
He was preceded in death by father, Bill Quinn, sister Jeanette O’Neil, as well as his grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins.
There will be a celebration of life in the La Sal Mountains in spring 2018. The family would like to thank everyone for all of their support and thoughtfulness during this time.
