On Nov 18, 2017, the American Cancer Society, Moab Rocks radio station, several Moab businesses and community members teamed up to raise money to purchase gas cards for members of the community that need to travel outside of the area for medical needs.

We are happy to say that we were able to raise over $1,200. We will distribute the $25 Chevron gas cards to Moab community members until they are gone. In order to receive a gas card you need to provide proof of residence and medical appointment by emailing them to melparriott@gmail.com, or texting them to Jason Parriott at 435-260-8003.

We will do our best to make sure we can help as many community members as we possibly can. Thank you to the following businesses for your donations and support and we are looking forward to next year: Moab Rocks 102.9, Zax, Moab Grill, Canyon Voyages, the Malleys, Kiss the Sun Studios, Crystal’s Cakes and Cones, Wicked Brew, Blu Pig, Rave’n Image, Moab Diner, The Spoke, City Market, Pizza Hut, Gonzo Inn, Canyonlands by Night, Fairfield Inn, Moab Watersports, Hugentobler Dental.
