Patsy was born in Montrose, Colo., April 11, 1950. She was raised in Park City, Utah. She graduated from Park City High School on May 23, 1969 and shortly after graduation she met and married David Applegate, the love of her life.
In the 1970s she became a mother. She lived as a logger’s wife, moving from sawmill to sawmill, and had seen many states because of that. In 1986 her family made Moab, Utah their final home. Her favorite hobbies included solving puzzles, spending time with grandchildren, knitting, and being a mother.
She is survived by her husband, daughters Ramona Lopez of Moab, Norina Applegate of Queen Creek, Ariz., Rhonda Applegate and Lorinda Applegate, both of Moab; grandchildren TJ Applegate, Emily Applegate, Ernie Lopez, David-Logan Applegate Heili, Gunnar Betts, Serra Belle St. Clair, Jacob Applegate, Cody Applegate; and great-grandson Jonathin Eldridge.
Funeral services were held Monday Feb. 5, 2018 at Moab Baptist Church. Burial followed at the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
