All Friends Welcome

We would like to invite you to join us in remembrance as we pay tribute to our dad with a celebration of life by the river. Along with friends and family, we’ll gather in a place held dear to his heart and honor his legacy of bringing people together.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Gold Bar Campground, Site C, on Thursday, June 7, 2018. A potluck barbeque will begin at 7 p.m. where we can eat, drink, reminisce, enjoy some of his favorite music, and toast to his memory.

Burgers and hotdogs will be provided; please feel free to bring any sides, salads, appetizers, fruit, beverages, desserts, and BYOB.

Parking and seating may be limited, so we recommend carpooling and bringing camp chairs and flashlights or headlamps; we anticipate a big crowd.

“Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing – absolutely nothing – half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.” –Wind in the Willows.
