I understand that there is dissension regarding the reassignment of Melinda Snow from Grand County Middle School. Please count me among the people who believe that the new superintendent, JT Stroder, is a thoughtful and thorough person. In addition, the school board works closely with the superintendent.

I do not know the reasons or details for the decision but I have complete confidence it was not an easy decision for them, that the decision-makers did their homework, and that the bottom line--above all--is that the decision was made in the best interests of students. I wish to thank the superintendent and school board for their leadership.
