The girls tennis team put in a lot of time on its home court this past weekend, losing to North Sanpete on Friday, Sept. 7, then hosting a tournament the next day. North Sanpete arrived late after a morning match against San Juan then narrowly defeated the Red Devils 2-3.

On Saturday, Grand hosted North Sanpete, Union and Stansbury Park for the Red Rock Duel round robin tournament. The Red Devils fell to North Sanpete 2-3 again, but beat Stansbury Park 3-2 and Union 4-1. Grand finished the tournament in second place, only one point behind Stansbury Park. For homecoming, the team will have a matchup with Millard at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13.
