The annual Moab Christmas Tree Lighting event begins at 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30 at Swanny Park. The event includes live entertainment including the Valley Voices and choirs from Grand County middle and high schools.

Local businesses will provide hot cocoa and cookies, and Santa will be there!

Here’s what else is on tap for the week:

Nov. 30-Dec. 1: MARC Holiday Art & Crafts Fair, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 30 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 1.

Nov. 30-Dec. 1: Holiday Craft Fair, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 30 and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 1, at the Moab Valley Inn.

Dec. 1: Electric Light Parade, 6 p.m. Main Street.

Dec. 1 Winter Sun 10K. Now in its 36th year, this event starts at the Moab Golf Course and ends at the Grand County High School track. Visit for more information.
