On to his next great adventure, Max passed peacefully from us on Dec. 9, 2008. He lived life on his terms and was happiest up in the mountains with his dogs, tracking bears and cats.
Max was born April 23, 1936 to Max E. and Gladys Lavon Osborn Baker. He married Rosella Draper in 1954. They later divorced.
He spent his later years in La Sal, Utah, a place that he truly loved.
He is survived by his sister, DeEtte Gerbich, his six daughters, Diane, Barbara (Scott), Linda, Robin, Wendy (Yogendra), and Deborah (George), 16 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves countless friends who will miss him dearly.
His family would like to thank the staff at the University of Utah MICU, especially Debra and Tracy, Dr. Allred, Dr. Linford, and Dr. Shah, for the compassion they showed us, and for their excellent care of our dad.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Max’s name to a charity of your choice.
We love you Dad!
