William Keith Morse, of Salt Lake City and a former Moab resident, passed away Oct. 6, 2010 due to complications from a broken neck. William was born born June 5, 1922.
He is survived by sons, Doug (Carol) of Roosevelt, Utah, and Keith (Jaynee); a grandson, Janssen of Agoura Hills Calif.; and a brother, Nolan (Yvonne) of Moab.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna; a son, George Lee; a sister, Amelia; and a brother-in-law, Tom.
William was a World War II and Korean War veteran.
He graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. in geology. He worked for various oil companies and the Utah Department of Transportation for 25 years as a materials engineer.
Services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 15 at Rose Park 1st Ward (East) Chapel, 760 North 1200 West, in Salt Lake City.
