Ronald William Marshall, 45, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011 in St. George, Utah of a heart attack.
Ron was born March 20, 1966 in Moab, Utah, to Ronald William and Carol Marshall. He grew up and went to school in Moab. He moved to St. George when he was about 18, and worked as a construction worker and foreman at AJ Construction in St. George for the last 10 years. He made many friends there, who were his St. George family.
He is survived by his mother Carol and stepdad Ian Moss Urquhart; his loving children, son Bryant Marshall, and daughter Kelsey Schaffer; granddaughter Aveaya Schaffer; step-sister Kari Urquhart; step-brother Chad Urquhart; grandmother Joan Jackson; and a large family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Marshall, and his grandfather, Jim Jackson, on his mother’s side.
In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Cancer Society or Heart Association.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service was held in Moab on Sept. 13 at the Church of Christ in Moab.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 17, between 6 and 9 p.m., at Cotton Town Village, located at 25 North 300 West in Washington, Utah.
