Jaime Rae Lopez-Guynn was called home by her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 23, 2012.
She was born on Oct. 22, 1976 In Moab Utah. She grew up in
Moab and graduated Grand County High School.
She enjoyed the drill team and cheerleading, but her true passion was softball. In her
junior year the GCHS softball team took state.
On June 5, 1998 she gave birth to a beautiful daughter who she named after both her sisters because she loved them so much, Tracie Michelle. She was the light of Jaime’s life.
On January 28, 2006 she married Dustin Guynn. She loved him with all her heart, and he made her so happy!
Jaime is survived by her husband, Dustin; daughter, Michelle; her parents, Eddie and Sandy Lopez; two sisters, Tracie (Keith) Carroll, and Jennifer Michelle, both of Moab. She is also survived by her niece, Alexis and two nephews, Jaxon and Braxton, whom she loved very much; her grandparents, Nick and Eva Chavez, and Stella Lopez, both of Moab; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who meant so much to her.
She is preceded in death by her grandpa, Frank Lopez; and her beloved cousin, Jason Lopez.
Jaime always had a smile on her face, and always had encourging words if she knew you were down. She was kind to everyone.
Rest in peace my precious angel. We will miss you so much and will love you forever.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 30, at 10 a.m. at the Community Church in Moab. Viewing was on Tuesday, May 29 at the Spanish Valley Mortuary. Interment followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
