Jill Krist Guynn, 53, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Jill was born in Kremmling, Colo. on Nov. 30, 1958, to John and Ethel (Smith) Krist. Her family moved to Moab, Utah in the fall of 1961 and she grew up and graduated from Grand County High School.
Jill loved horses and participated in many rodeos around the area and was a Rodeo Queen. She later met and married Mark Guynn on May 29, 1981 in Moab.
Jill had a love for being with people. She worked at City Market until her illness would not let her work anymore.
She is survived by her son, Dustin Guynn; mother, Ethel Krist; sister, Joan Wilcox; three brothers, Rod, Ron and Roy Krist; a granddaughter, Michelle Lopez; and 10 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, John; and her daughter-in-law, Jaime Guynn.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 2 at Moab Baptist Church.
A viewing was held June 1 at Spanish Valley Mortuary. Interment followed the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
