Matthew David Wade, 27, was taken from the loving arms of his family due to an automobile accident the evening of Nov. 30 while on his way to his monthly U.S. Air Force drill activities.
He was born on July 8, 1985 in Ogden, Utah, to Edward L. and Linda M. Wade. Matthew was a Propulsions Systems Specialist in the United States Air Force stationed in Spokane, Wash. He served for five years and was very proud to serve his country.
His smile was very infectious with those cute little dimples. His generosity was surpassed by none. He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it without hesitation or concern for himself. He was liked by everyone he came in contact with and will be sorely missed by everyone. The good truly do die young.
He is survived by: his parents; three brothers: Jeremy Don Wade, Benjamin Edward Wade, Christopher Bengt Wade; their wives, Ann Wade, Celeste Wade and Janjarat (Oy) Wade; two sisters, Candace Ann Nelson and Jennifer McPherson; three nephews, Alaxander Terry Nelson, Christiann David Nelson and Devin William McPherson; one niece, Jade Serene McPherson; grandparents, David D. Astin, Jr. and Elisabeth R. Astin and Vesta Clements; aunts, Susan Lisonbee, Michelle Holyoak, Sally Wickham, Janet Gay; uncles, Vint Wade and Sterling Wade; and numerous cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Edward A. Wade; his aunt, Helen Rose Munns; and great-grandparents, David D. Astin and Helen Astin, and Eugene A. Schilling and Rosa Schilling.
Services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 1 p.m. at the LDS church on 400 North with a viewing one hour prior to the service.
