BLM approves SITLA lands exchange in Grand, Uintah

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has approved a recreational land exchange with Utah’s School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration (SITLA). Under the Utah Recreational Land Exchange Act of 2009, the BLM and SITLA will consolidate land ownership through the exchange of lands in Uintah, Grand and San Juan counties.

Documents and maps showing the parcels to be exchanged can be viewed at the BLM-Utah State Office, 440 West 200 South, Suite 500, Salt Lake City. The exchange maps and additional documents, including the environmental assessment and Decision Record, are available online at blm.gov/drld.
