Terry Page Golf Tourney supports GCHS athletic programs
Organizer: ‘Overwhelming support, generosity’

The second annual Terry Page Memorial Golf Tournament took place on Saturday, June 23 at the Moab Golf Club.

The tournament was held in honor of the late Terry Page, who died nearly a year ago and was coach of the high school girls softball team and an avid supporter of all Red Devil sports.

Proceeds of the tournament will be given to two Grand County High School sports teams. Claudia Page, the tournament’s organizer, said the GCHS volleyball and football teams will receive money from the fundraiser this year. Due to the “overwhelming support and generosity” of the tournament participants, Page said additional teams may receive funding as well.

The tournament committee will meet soon to decide if other teams will be included.

According to Page, 116 people – split into 29 teams of four – participated in the tournament. The Woodard and Esquibel team won the tournament.
