Updated information will also be presented about the roads and highways and the changes that have come about over the years. There will also be information presented about the safety features that are now available in the newer cars. There have been several new driving laws passed that will be included in the class.
Upon completion of the class, participants will be given a certificate of completion to give to their insurance agents and will receive a discount on the insurance premium. When both spouses complete the class both will be given the discount. The discount will be given for three years. There are no written or driving tests given. Cost of the class is $15 for AARP members and $20 for others, which includes manuals and handout information. To register for the class contact the senior center at (435) 259-6623.
