Soccer eliminated in first round of playoffs

On Wednesday, Oct. 10, the Grand County High School girls soccer team traveled to Bluffdale to take on Summit Academy in the first round of the playoffs. The Red Devils were shut out as Summit Academy picked up a goal each half to win 2-0.

Since the playoffs are single elimination, the defeat ends the season for Grand girls soccer. Sophomore Corah Moody scored the most goals for Grand this season, putting the ball in the net 11 times over the course of as many games.
