GCMS collection drive benefits food bank

The Grand County Middle School Honor Society recently held its annual food drive to benefit the Grand County Food Bank.

Each advisory class competed to see which one would donate the most food per student. In all, eight barrels were delivered.

Steve Kennedy, a parent volunteer, delivered the food on Thursday, Nov. 15. The winning seventh and eighth grade advisory classes received doughnuts and apple juice on Friday morning, Nov. 16.
