Broadway comes to Moab

The Sixth Annual Broadway Classics Show gets underway at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 29-30, at the Grand County High School auditorium. Starring locals and produced for the community, tickets for adults are $8. They are $5 for senior citizens and children and $25 for a family. All proceeds go to the GCHS band and drama departments.

Here’s what else is on tap for the week ahead:

March 30: Salt Lake Medium Spirit Connection features Jo Anne Smith, a medium who will connect with departed loved ones; 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Red Cliffs Lodge, milepost 14 on Highway 128.

March 30-April 1: Moab Rocks MTB Race is a three-day cross-country race. For more information, visit transrockies.com/moab-rocks

April 3: The Wild Bunch Film Screening- 5:30 p.m. at Star Hall, 159 E. Center. This commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of Sam Peckinpah’s classic western “The Wild Bunch: Author W. K. Stratton will discuss his new book, “The Wild Bunch: Sam Peckinpah, a Revolution in Hollywood, and the Making of a Legendary Film.”
