The Red Rock 4-Wheelers hosted the Moab Chamber of Commerce’s monthly luncheon on April 9 with a four-wheeling excursion at the Fins & Things Trail in the Sand Flats Recreation Area.

The group provided sack lunches on a breezy afternoon. Red Rock 4-Wheelers Business Manager Rex Holman and Easter Jeep Safari Expo Coordinator Doug McElhaney offered a brief update on what locals could expect during the nine-day event – now well underway – and culminating on Easter Sunday, April 21.

Both men acknowledged the impact the Safari has on traffic and the crowded conditions at restaurants and retail establishments. They asked Chamber of Commerce members to be patient. They also explained that many people driving Jeeps and other four-by-four vehicles show up for the Safari, but “do their own thing.”
