Lost mail is a personal issue

Editor,

Sticky fingers? No question mark required! It seems that everyone knows about this problem and nobody cares.

I have spoken to the postmaster at the Moab Post Office and to several people at the federal level: phone calls, letters, emails.

First, our daughter’s mail was disappearing, not reaching her mailbox at her residence. I thought someone was stealing from there, so in September I purchased a post office box for her at the Moab Post Office.

This did nothing to fix the problem. The first piece of mail I sent to her box, a greeting card with a gift card enclosed, never reached her. This continues to happen! I certainly don’t dare send her anything like a gift, because she never receives them.

Yes, Michael Quinn, this is personal.
