    As Grand County's paper of record, The Times-Independent publishes public notices of many kinds submitted to the newspaper from local people and institutions.

    The City of Moab will hold a public hearing to discuss the project determined to be applied for in the CDBG Small Cities Program in Program Year 2019. ADA Accessibility Improvements to Downtown Recreation Facilities Project will provide access to facilities at the Center Street Gym for users with ambulatory disabilities, as well as tactile signs for the Moab Art and Recreation Center. Comments will be solicited on the project scope, implementation, and its effects on residents. The hearing will begin at approximately 7:15 p.m. on May 28, 2019 and will be held at Moab City Hall, 217 East Center Street, Moab, Utah 84532. Further information can be obtained by contacting Mark Jolissaint, Assistant City Engineer at (435) 259-4941.
