Two dead after missing plane found

The San Juan County Sheriff’s Office said Monday morning that a plane that had gone missing the day before had been found, alongside the two persons on board, who were dead.

When the plane was first reported missing, pleas for help on social media named Kevin Carroll and Jay Camberlango as the two persons on the plane. The San Juan County Sheriff’s Office has since confirmed the identities of the deceased.

Carroll, who was a Moab resident, was 53; Camberlango, who was a Lindon resident, was 42.
