The Grand County High School football team will begin practice Monday, July 29 at 7 p.m., according to coach Dennis Wells.
The team, which competed for the championship last fall, will host its first game at home Aug. 16 against Morgan. Wells is encouraging more players to join the team. “We have a good core of returning athletes, but we need players. If you’re considering coming out for football, please do!”
The Red Devil gridders competed for the state title last year with 50 fewer players than their opponent. But Wells is still hoping to increase depth in the team. “Come be part of Red Devil football!” he said.
Practices are at the high school.
