The Division of Wildlife Resources will host a free firearms seminar on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019, in Green River from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This event offers introductory hands-on tutorials for rifles, pistols, shotguns and archery and includes time on the shooting range. “It’s a perfect opportunity for beginners to ask questions and participate in learning exciting new skills,” said organizers.
Attendees should come casually dressed and with close-toed shoes. Do not bring any personal firearms. All materials and equipment will be provided. Lunches will also be provided.
“This event is particularly designed to give women a supportive, encouraging and comfortable atmosphere where they can learn and improve their shooting skills,” said organizers. Participation is limited to the first 30 people ages 12 or older who register online.
The event will be held at the Green River City Hall.
