YGP seeks volunteers for first harvest festival

The Youth Garden Project is looking for volunteers for its first annual harvest festival slated for Saturday, Sept. 21.

The event will be a celebration highlighting local food, music, fun and games in honor of the fall harvest, according to a press release from the nonprofit. “We need some help to make sure the event’s first iteration goes without a hitch, and are seeking volunteers interested in making this event unforgettable,” said the announcement.

Volunteers are needed to help with pre-festival set up, kids booths and food sales.

The event will run from 3 to 7 p.m., and there are multiple time slots available for volunteering. Send an email to [email protected], or call 435-259-2326.
