Motorcycle and car collide on 100 West

One person sustained critical injuries but is in stable condition after a motorcycle she was riding collided with a car on 100 West around 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28. The other passenger on the motorcycle sustained minor injuries; the car’s driver was shaken but uninjured.

Both patients were transported to Moab Regional Hospital; the female was flown to St Mary’s Medical Center by Classic Air Medical.

“The driver of the vehicle stopped and cooperated with law enforcement officials as well as being evaluated by four corners mental health professionals,” Grand County EMS said in a press release.

The Moab City Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident.
