Page family gives $13,000 to Red Devil athletics

The family of the late Terry Page presented four checks totaling $13,000 to Red Devil athletic teams. Page’s granddaughter, Hannah Tuft, gave the formal announcement of the donations before the opening serve of the varsity volleyball match Thursday evening, Sept. 5.

Three teams, boys soccer, baseball and swimming, received checks of $4,000 each. The cheerleading team received $1,000.

Grand County High School Principal Steve Hren said of Page that he was “an avid sports supporter and coach in the community and high school level.”

Each year, the tournament rotates which sports receivedproceeds from the event. This was the third year that the tournament took place and that proceeds were donated to GCHS athletics, according to Hren.
