BLM Utah RAC meets in Green River

Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument and administrative changes made at the Kanab Field Office and other key issues are on the agenda Oct. 29-30 when the Bureau of Land Management Resource Advisory Council for Utah meets at the John Wesley Powell Museum in Green River.

Accomplishments in 2019 and the implementation of the John D. Dingell, Jr., Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act will also be discussed.

The Tuesday, Oct. 29 meeting is set for 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and the Oct. 30 meeting is an all-day affair beginning at 8 a.m. and going until 5 p.m.

The public is invited to attend and may address the RAC from 4:30 to 5 p.m. on Oct. 29 and from 1:45 to 2:15 p.m. on Oct. 30.

Depending on the number of people wishing to comment and time available, the amount of time for individual oral comments may be limited.
