Kent Somerville has once again medaled in tennis at the Huntsman World Senior Games held in St. George Oct. 7-12, bringing home a gold in singles and a silver in doubles both in the open category for his respective age bracket.
This was Somerville’s 17th year of competition in the Huntsman Games.
People from all parts of the world come every year to compete in this tournament. He says it gives him “a great sense of accomplishment just to compete in the senior games. But to win a medal in world competition is indescribable.”
Everyone over 50 years of age who likes sports should consider trying the senior games, said Somerville.
