The 7th grade student of the month for February is Ean Ellis.
“Ean is incredibly helpful, respectful and kind throughout each of his classes. Every day he enters class with a smile, is enthusiastic and fully prepared to start the day’s activities. He always makes sure to offer help and support when needed for his peers, teachers, and anyone he sees in need. He works well in any group, and stands out as a natural leader.
“Ean demonstrates good sportsmanship by being a fierce competitor but always remaining cheerful and good-natured throughout and afterwards, no matter the outcome. He is an exceptional student and an exceptional role model for those around him. Ean loves to hunt and to rodeo. He enjoys playing sports like baseball and basketball.
He likes to get good grades and it shows in his academics. His favorite time of year is summertime! Ean’s advice to his fellow students is, ‘Work hard in school.’”
The 8th grade student of the month is Micah Renn.
“He is a student who wastes no time! He comes into class; gets busy working on his assignments, participate in class, and follows instructions. Because of his outstanding work habits as a student, he excels academically, as well.
“On top of being a great student, Micah is also a great person. He is friendly, mature, is always smiling and sometimes singing. Micah is a student who exhibits the characteristics that his peers can follow as an example. As a result, his classmates see Micah as a leader and someone they can count on.
“Micah’s hard work, passion for learning, and his desire to do well are a great combination for success! I have no doubt he will be very successful in the future. Micah is a skater dude and is very social. He is a lover of music and writes his own songs. He can play the guitar, ukulele, bass, piano, and percussion. Micah has a very kind heart. His advice to other students is, ‘Do not let bad days get to you.’”
