The Grand County Library has formed a Teen Ambassador Group for youth, ages 12-17. The group will brainstorm activities, books, gaming and events for the Teen Library Program, while enjoying food, friends and fun, said Teen Librarian Christina Williams.
Meetings will be held at 5 p.m. the second Friday of each month starting Dec. 13 inside the large meeting room at the library.
“The library is a safe space for teens to hang out at after school, Saturdays, and during school breaks. The program gives teens an opportunity to help create events and programming that meets their interests, as well as a positive experience,” said Williams.
