Students at Grand County Middle School School raised money to help others this holiday season. Top photo from the left is Grand County Middle School Principal Cari Caylor, Honor Society Vice President Ali Jones, Joel Redd of Utah Foster Care foundation, and Honor Society President Liam Clark. The school collected more than $900 to help buy Christmas gifts for foster children, and to help fund the program. Michael Estenson’s class of eighth-graders, middle photo, raised the most with $290 collected, and seventh-grade teacher Kari Barnard’s class, bottom, raised $227. Redd provided pizza for a celebratory party. Advisors Tracy Renn and Kristine Martin said they were “very proud of the students’ efforts and enjoyed working with them.” The students will be recognized for those efforts during a school assembly Jan. 17.
