Red Devils boys soccer home opener cancelled; away team suspended school over COVID-19

Waterford School, a college preparatory private school in Sandy, Utah, has cancelled its scheduled boys soccer game against the Grand County Red Devils after the Waterford team “was directed to return home immediately,” according to Grand County Grand County Activities Director Ron Dolphin, “as they (Waterford) have chosen to close their school for online learning and suspended all athletics at this time.”

Dolphin said no rescheduling of the game has been discussed.
